Ah, it’s white everywhere. The snow had covered the human world. So what, you asked? Well, obviously, it’s nearly the time for the joyful Christmas! The time where people share their love, exchange gifts, and have a wonderful time!
The date right now is December 24th, and as the morning comes through the window, a person wearing red pajamas woke up with a wide yawn. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, feeling exhausted for staying up until late at night, watching and writing the list of good people this year. People who believes in Santa Claus have decreased, but the number of people themselves was increasing rapidly. He wondered whether he should start giving condoms to the parents as Christmas gifts. But that would be against the Christmas Law #10987: Do not give any gift to those who does not believe in Santa Claus.
He glanced to the side and looked at the magical parchment. It seemed small, but it contains the super duper extra long list of people who would be given gifts. Tonight, his job would be long and hard. If only Toshiya the Elf would accompany him instead of Kyo the (grumpy) Reindeer…
Remembering that certain beautiful being, Kaoru the Santa smiled dreamily. His years had been so cheerful and lively ever since that elf arrived from the elf village to help him in making and wrapping gifts, replacing the old elf that had retired due to his age.
Kaoru jumped down from his bed, then he stood by the window, absorbing the view of the North Pole, his kingdom. He inhaled the fresh morning air and exclaimed, “Exercise time!”
Kaoru stretched his body from left then to the right as he counted, “One, two! One, two! One, two—OUCH!” He winced when suddenly he felt a stinging pain on his right waist. He couldn’t straighten up his body back, he cursed, “For F sake! My waist! Damn, I’m really getting old!”
He encouraged himself and grabbed his almighty Santa Claus uniform, so he could start his work as soon as possible. Time is money! Well… not that he get any money from all this. He wasn’t one of those fake Santas on the shopping malls.
“Santa Kaoru, breakfast is ready!” A knock on his door came along with the sweet voice of the one he had been dreaming of. Kaoru rushed to the door and opened it with a wide smile. “Good morning, Toshiya!”
Toshiya the Elf smiled back to him, “Good morning!” Kaoru was nearly overwhelmed by the angelic smile, but didn’t have the chance to comment at that as Toshiya had already turned and began to walk towards the dining room. The older man snickered at the view of Toshiya’s little butt wrapped with a short skirt. For once, Kaoru was glad that he was the one who picked the elf uniform.
Just as he was about to eat, Kaoru noticed Toshiya walked away from the dining table. “Hey, Toshiya, where are you going?”
“Hm? Of course I’m going to wrap more gifts!”
“Can’t you stay until I’m done with breakfast? I’m going to the Gift Factory too after this.”
“But there are still so many gifts—.”
Kaoru fixed him a firm stare, “Just tell those Totchis to go ahead and do it. You’ll come with me later.” He saw Toshiya was about to protest, so he added. “Santa’s order.”
Toshiya sighed in defeat. He closed his eyes and blew to the top of his palms. Some tiny lights appeared and fluttered around. The lights turned bigger and finally, some hand-sized elves with the same looks as Toshiya jumped down to the floor.
“Chi! Chi! Chi!” The small duplicates chirped at their maker. Toshiya smiled at them, “Now, Totchi, you go ahead to the Gift Factory and work on the gifts. I’ll go there later.”
All of them gave Toshiya a salute, “Chi!” Then they run outside.
Kaoru chuckled, “They’re so cute, especially because they have the exact same face as you.”
Toshiya blushed as he caught the hidden praise of himself being cute. Kaoru had always told him things like that, and Toshiya would never get used to it. Well, in the elf village, Toshiya was a standout. But to have a Santa telling you things like cute and beautiful and other praises would make you blush, right? Santa was their king after all. Not to mention that this Santa is still young and handsome, replacing his father just a few years ago.
“And the food tastes good like usual!” Kaoru spoke more, “You’ll really make a good wife!”
Toshiya blushed more and snapped, “I’m a boy! Would you stop teasing me like that?”
Kaoru held back his chuckle as he saw Toshiya turned his back towards Kaoru, the blush still visible as it was spread to Toshiya’s elfish ears, which as usual twitched adorably whenever Toshiya was feeling ashamed.

“CHIIIII!!” The Totchis welcomed as Kaoru arrived at the factory with Toshiya.
“Morning, everybody!” Kaoru greeted and walked along the red-carpet aisle. “Work hard, people! Today’s Christmas Eve!”
The situation inside the factory was full of activities, starting from making toys, then wrapping all of them one by one, and lastly labeling the gifts.
Toshiya was so busy that he didn’t notice that Kaoru was watching at him with dreamy face right now. Toshiya always look adorable and Kaoru felt like he wanted to hug the pretty elf. After a few hours, Toshiya stopped his activity, wanting to rest his mind and body for a second. He let out a tired sigh and looked up. His eyes met with Kaoru’s, who greeted with his charming smile, “Tired?” He asked with loving voice.
Toshiya nodded, “A little”
Kaoru brought his face closer and brushed Toshiya’s hair. “Why don’t you take a rest?”
Toshiya shook his head. “NO! I can’t do that! I must finish my job before the night’s come!”
“Well you can leave it to the other Totchis. There were not many gifts left anyway!”
“NO!” Toshiya said firmly and continued his job to show that he was serious.
Kaoru stared at him in admiration. The elf was always taking his job seriously and that only made Kaoru fell in love further with him.
Toshiya stole a glance and raised his eyebrows, “Kaoru, why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to work?”
“I’ve already finished my job yesterday, so now I want to look into your beautiful face all day long.” Kaoru answered honestly, making the elf blushed and as always, his ears twitched.
“But you’re disturbing me from my work!” Toshiya ducked his head down, pretended to get mad.
Kaoru pouted, “Eh? Why’s that?”
In the middle of their chat, one little Totchi came, carrying a gift ten times bigger than itself for Toshiya. The little Totchi tripped over nothing and fell. “CHIIIIIIII~!” Toshiya and all the Totchis cried when the clumsy Totchi’s chin hit the floor.
The Totchis were part of Toshiya, or in another word, Toshiya and The Totchis were ‘one’. When one of them was hurt, the others would feel the same things too.
Toshiya rubbed his chin and winced, about to reach out for the fallen Totchi, but Kaoru was faster to help that Totchi. The Santa gently scooped the little duplicate and put it on top of his hand. “Here, here, are you okay?”
“Chiii…” Totchi sobbed and whined. Kaoru smiled and leaned in, nuzzling it with his nose. “It’s okay now…”
That Totchi, along with the others and Toshiya himself, felt ticklish and giggled, forgetting about the pained feeling on their chins.
Kaoru always felt amazed whenever something like this happened. They were all too cute. Kaoru grinned as a kinky idea popped out of nowhere on his head. ‘Hmm…I’ve had peeked Toshiya’s underwear before! I wonder if the little Totchi’s wearing underwear too behind the mini skirt…’ He thought quietly and raised Totchi’s skirt with his big finger.
“Aaa.” That was the only response from the smug Santa.
Toshiya and his minis blushed hard. “Kaoru!” Toshiya fumed and snatched that Totchi away from Kaoru’s hand. “Is that what a Santa supposed to be doing?!” Unexpectedly, Kaoru pulled Toshiya towards him, making the elf fell right to his lap.
“Eh, Toshiya,” Kaoru spoke in a low voice, “Would you go delivering gifts with me tonight?”
“What are you saying?!” Toshiya widened his eyes, “There has never been an elf going with Santa before!” He averted his eyes, “B-besides, I’ll be busy preparing for next year’s gifts.”
“There was no rule that forbids an elf to go outside the North Pole Kingdom with Santa.” Kaoru scooted closer to Toshiya, convincing the elf to accompany him.
“But I’ll be busy—.”
“Aw, come on! It’s only for one night! The journey would be much more fun with you around! Kyo was not exactly a talkative person—I mean reindeer.”
Toshiya hesitated. Would it be really okay? Would the elf elder scold him? Would Toshiya be the talk of the elf village because he ditched his job and have fun in the outside world? Would—.
“You must be worried too much over things.” Kaoru poked his cheek, “It’s Santa’s order.”
Toshiya rolled his eyes. Now he really couldn’t say no.
He sighed in defeat, “Alright…”
“Yay!” Kaoru threw his arms around Toshiya and glomped him. “I’m happy! I’m sooooo happy!” Then he landed a soft kiss on Toshiya’s cheek. Toshiya’s ears twitched wildly like a pair of flapping wings. He was flustered by Kaoru’s sudden action but his little heart felt extremely beyond happy.
“Kaoruuu~!” He touched the invisible kiss mark on his cheek, he felt his cheeks were burned hot.
Kaoru smirked then ran away from Toshiya, “Then I’ll see you tonight! Be ready at eleven!”

“You’re kidding me! It’s not possibly the time for Christmas already! I’ve just slept for an hour!”
“Kyo! You’ve been sleeping for a year! Now wake up and do your job!”
“You’re lying! Leave me alone!”
Kaoru stomped angrily. This reindeer was very hard to be ordered around. Kyo choose to sleep and refused to go anywhere if it’s not the time for Christmas, making Kaoru had to search for another reindeer if he wanted to travel around. The problem was, Kyo was the chosen reindeer. He was the only one who got the strength and endurance to go around the world in a single night.
“You wake up now or I’ll slice you up into dinner!”
Kyo jumped horrified, “W-what kind of a Santa are you?!”
Kaoru sneered. That statement worked every time. He leads the sleepy Kyo to the ground where Toshiya was busy putting the gifts into the Santa cart. Kaoru took the lashes and tied it to Kyo. When he was done, he patted Kyo’s head, ignoring the growl from the supposedly tame reindeer.
“Are we ready, Toshiya?” He asked to the elf.
Toshiya looked around and smiled, “I guess.”
“Then hop in! We’re off!”
xxx
The cart flied up in the high sky. Toshiya yelled excitedly when they went through a large white fluffy cloud. “KYAA~!”
Kaoru smiled at seeing him happy like that while Kyo mocked, “Huh! So childish!”
They finally reached the human world and Toshiya peeked down. Toshiya’s eyes and mouth went wide in amazement. “Wooooww…”
The city was bathed with bluish-green, red, and yellow light. From up there, it looked like a very giant Christmas tree. Toshiya bounced in the chair, pulling Kaoru’s arm shirts. “Kaoru! Look, look! It’s so beautiful!”
Kaoru stared lovingly at him and his arms moved to wrap Toshiya’s body from behind and placing his face to Toshiya’s cheek. Toshiya was too lost in his own enthusiasm and didn’t notice the hug.
Kyo informed the current situation. “We’re going to land now! Fasten your seat belts!”
“We’re landing! We’re landing!” Toshiya exclaimed and bounced even more, unconsciously freed himself from Kaoru’s embrace. Kaoru sweatdropped, “Toshiya, don’t get too excited, okay?”
Toshiya ignored Kaoru’s words and kept bouncing. Kaoru shook his head but let him did that. Kaoru ordered, “Alrighty! To the first house, Kyo!”
“Roger!” Kyo replied and maneuvered the cart to the particular house.
xxx
Kaoru appeared from the chimney, huffing heavily. “Gah! This family barely cleans their chimney!” He glanced up and saw that Toshiya was looking at him in awe. “What?”
“I’m still amazed at how the Santa uniform works its miracle. You could fit into that small chimney…”
“He was saying that you seemed too fat to fit into any chimney.” Kyo yawned.
Toshiya shook his head, “I didn’t mean that!”
Kaoru smacked Kyo’s head, “No more badmouthing your Santa!” Kyo glared at him, but he ignored it and said. “Off to the next house!”
xxx
“Okay! Next!” Kaoru hopped into the cart.
They left to the next house. On their way, Toshiya saw something that caught his interest. “Kaoru! It’s you!” Toshiya pointed down far to the earth.
“Huh? Me?” Kaoru scrunched his face then with a big curiosity he peeked down to where Toshiya’s finger pointed to…
Kaoru jawdropped. “What the—“
A Santa Claus statuesque.
“So cute!”
“It is not! Why humans always think that every Santa Claus was fat and old?!” Kaoru frowned.
“But somehow the image fits with the name of ‘Santa Claus’!” Toshiya said, didn’t even mean anything bad as he said that.
But Kaoru thought the opposite, “Are you trying to say that I’m ugly, old and fat!?”
“Well, in fact you are.” Kyo cut in.
“Silence!” Kaoru yelled angrily.
Toshiya touched Kaoru’s hand, spoke in innocent loveable way, “I didn’t mean that way. But Kaoru, even if you’re ugly, old, and fat…” Toshiya ducked his head and Kaoru could see the twitching ears. “…Everyone would still like you…”
Kaoru leaned in, “Including you?”
Toshiya nodded shyly, making Kaoru’s heart melted. “Toshiya…”
The elf turned his head to the side, averting his attention to the view down there, although he wasn’t actually looking at them. But then another object excite him again, “KYAAAA! There’s a big Santa Claus statue! And he’s waving his hand!”
Kaoru rolled his eyes, not interested on seeing another ‘him’.
Kyo was amazed when he heard the statuesque made a ‘Hohohoho’ laugh. “Wow! Big ‘un! This dude can wave and laugh!”
Toshiya slid half of his body and hanged on to the arm of the cart, wanting to have a closer look. “Waaa…so cute—AH!”
He felt himself fell from the cart and his body flew down to the city like a feather. He didn’t realize at first what was happening but then he screamed from the top of his lungs, “KAORUUUUUUUUUUUUU~!!!!!”
“TOSHIYA!!!!” Kaoru screamed in panic. “KYO!! AFTER HIM!”
Kyo turned his body and ran after the falling body. He ran as fast as he could, but the heavy wind took Toshiya faster away from them. “I can’t! The wind’s too strong!” In no time, they had lost sight of Toshiya. “Kaoru! We’ve lost him!”
“SHIT!!” Kaoru cursed. Because Toshiya had fell from the cart, that means he could be seen by humans. Added to the fact that Toshiya barely knew anything in this world, who knows what might happen? His brain worked quickly and he decided to ask the two people who might be able to help him.
“Kyo! Land on a place where there’s a snowman and a Christmas tree!”
xxx
“~UUUUUUUUUUUUUU—KYA!” Toshiya landed on a big mountain of snows, buried deep down inside.
Nothing happened for a few seconds and then Toshiya’s head popped out from the snows. “Kaoru…?” He looked around. Kaoru wasn’t there. Kyo wasn’t there. There was nobody. He started to feel scared for being alone in unknown place. “Kao~” Then he was shed in tears. “HUWWWWEEEEEEEEE~!!!”
Toshiya cried himself in the deserted city for some time. After he felt there were no tears left, he stopped crying, though he was still sobbing. He thought that he had to do something. Then he helped himself out from the snow and walked to the road. He didn’t like being alone, his eyes were searching for any hints of living creatures, whether it was humans or animals.
He headed to a place that was full with houses and his feet directed to a big hall. Toshiya stopped to read a small board of announcement, it said ; ‘COSTUME PARTY’. He tilted his head, thinking about what he should do. Then decided to come in to the house.
xxx
Kaoru jumped off the cart and hurried to the snowman outside a house. He leaned in and whispered, “Shinya, I need your help.” He waited for a while before the snowman’s body suddenly shook and a face popped out from the front of the snowman’s head.
It was Shinya the Snowman. He controlled the snow and made sure that no snowman melted before the Christmas ended. “What’s wrong, Kaoru?” Shinya asked.
“Toshiya fell off the cart and I lost him.” Kaoru explained the situation.
“Toshiya the Elf?” Shinya raised an eyebrow, “What’s an elf doing in your cart?”
“I asked him to accompany me. I can’t lose him.” Kaoru said, “Please help me find him through your snowmans! You can see through any snowman’s eyes and enter their body, right?”
Shinya nodded. “I’ll try my best.” Then his face disappeared and replaced back by the snowman’s stone eyes and carrot nose.
Kaoru rushed inside the house, through the chimney of course, because he was too used to it. If Shinya the Snowman could search outside, it’s time to contact Die the Christmas Spirit who could search the inside of places. As a Christmas spirit, Die could appear and see through any kind of Christmas tree, even fake ones, where the spirit of Christmas gathered the most. Kaoru approached the Christmas tree in the middle of the living room and whispered, “Die, please come here for a sec.”
He didn’t have to wait long before a face popped out from the huge star on top of the tree. “Hey Kaoru! Aren’t you supposed to deliver gifts?”
xxx
He entered the crowded house, wondering what were these people doing. “Eh? Peter Pan from Neverland?” He blinked, now that he looked around, there were many recognizable people. But is it just him or their faces were kind of different from the ones he remembered?
Another familiar person walked passed him and Toshiya turned his head towards the person, “Fairy Godmother!”
The fake fairy godmother turned her head, “Yes?”
“It’s me, Toshiya the elf! I need your help to go back to North Pole!”
“North what?” She was confused.
“North Pole! Or at least could you tell Santa Kaoru that I was here?!”
“Oh, dear! I don’t know what the heck are you talking about?” She raised her shoulders and left Toshiya alone.
Toshiya was trying to catch her, but the room was too crowded, so he missed her. Toshiya turned around and bumped to someone that was standing before him. Toshiya fell on his butt, whining, “Oww~! It hurts!”
“Hey, boy! Watch out when you’re walking!!”
“I’m sorry—“ Toshiya looked up then gasped when he saw who was standing in front of him. “Captain Hook?!”
Toshiya stood up hurriedly and ran away with frightened face, screaming, “KYAAAAAAAA~!!”.
The Captain Hook imitator was puzzled by the reaction and asked to his friend, a Medusa-costumed woman. “What’s wrong with that kid?”
xxx
“Kaoru! I saw Toshiya in a hall where a costume party is being held!”
“WHERE’S THE HALL?!”
“It’s two blocks from here. A huge hall and a huge sign, you wouldn’t miss it—WAIT! KAORU! TOSHIYA HAD RUN OUTSIDE!” Die groaned when he saw Kaoru already took off full speed with Kyo.
The Santa was beginning to feel nervous. Toshiya had been missing for hours now. He saw the huge ‘costume party’ sign right on the place Die told him, so he rushed inside, leaving Kyo outside.
‘HO SHIT’ was the first thing that appeared on his mind when he entered. Costume party indeed. Everyone was wearing costumes of characters from fairy tales et cetera. The only result from his thorough searching inside the hall was a conclusion that Toshiya must’ve freaked out and ran outside already. There was a person dressed as Captain Hook, and the real man once kidnapped Toshiya when he was still a little elf.
So, no Toshiya in here.

Die’s face popped out of a Christmas tree, and coincidentally, Shinya’s face popped out from a snowman right next to him. Die grinned widely, “SHINYA!”
Shinya turned his head in surprise, “D-Die?!” His face turned irritated. “What the hell are you doing here?!”
“Ow! What’s with that look? I’m hurt! Here I am, so happy to see you, oh such whiteness and round body!”
“Of course I’m white and round! I’m a snowman! Stop calling me pretty, you lanky-green-leaved-pointy tree!”
“I’m hurt! I’m hurt! How could you call me that?”
“Look!” Shinya glowered, “I’m not into Christmas tree, ok?! Leave me alone!”
“Toshiya!”
“Eh? Were you asked by Kaoru to look for Toshiya too?”
“No—I mean yes, I mean THERE’S TOSHIYA!”
“Wha—Oh Toshiya! Damn, he didn’t see us! Quick! After him! Oh, and tell Kaoru!”
“It’s really hard to move with a tree’s body, you know…” Die decided to stop jumping after Shinya, concentrating on telling Kaoru first. He closed his eyes, trying to find any trees, the closest one to wherever Kaoru was. “Damn, it’s hard!”
“Well, try harder!”
“Alright, alright! Just be quiet!” Die snapped then focused his mind. “Gotcha!”
xxx
Kaoru hit his fist to a table where foods and drinks were served. “Damn! Where is he?!”
“Kaoru!” A squeaky voice could be heard, but Kaoru didn’t where that came from. Kaoru looked around. “Who’s calling me?”
“Here! In here!” The squeaky voice yelled.
“Where?!”
Die jumped up and down. “Here! Look down! Down, stupid!”
Kaoru finally looked down to the table, where a miniature of a Christmas tree was placed. “Die?!”
“No! I’m Donald Trump! Well who do you think I am?!” Die said grumpily, still with his squeaky voice. Then he said again, “Quick! Toshiya’s in trouble!”
xxx
“L-leave me alone!” Toshiya cried, curling his body down.
“Aww…don’t be scared, cutie! Come play with me! Hehehehe!” An old drunken man, with a bottle of drink on his hand, walked limply to Toshiya. His other hand was going to reach the trembling Toshiya. “Come here…”
“Get away from me!” Toshiya brought on of his feet up, kicking the approaching hand of the drunken man. The man avoided the ineffective kicks and grabbed it and pulled Toshiya closer.
“Waaa! Kaoru! Kaoru! Let me go, you-you bad guy!” Toshiya tried to hold on in his place, pulling his feet back.
xxx
Shinya saw the whole incident and panicked. “Oh, mother! Do something, Shinya!” He said to himself.
Die finally caught up after Shinya and spoke with a ragged breath. “Pfiuhh! I had told Kaoru—Hey!” Die widened his eyes when Shinya rolled himself towards the two with his rounded snow body.
“Hang on, Toshiya! I’m coming!”
Die followed after him, jumping again with his tree shaped body. “Wait for me! I’m coming too!”
“TOSHIYA!”
“S-SHINYA?!”
A loud sound of snowballs crashing into the drunken man was heard. The snowballs exploded as a result of the crash, and the man got thrown to the back. Die widened his eyes and screamed in worry, “SHINYA!” He rushed to his love, of what remains of his love. He didn’t have any arms, so he pleaded to the elf. “Toshiya! Please! Make a snowman, a small one would do! I just have to know he’s alright!”
Toshiya nodded and reached for some snow. As he was forming back his helper’s body, the drunken man awakened and stood up tipsily. “W-what the heck was that?”
Die noticed the bad guy. “You bastard! Eat this!” then shot him with pine fruits that came out from all over his body, making the man fell back to the snow. “WOOOAAAHH~!!!”
Toshiya sighed in relief and finished the little snowman, consisted of the head, the middle part, and the lower part. He put a pair of little sticks for the arms, and picked some stones to form its face. “Shinya? Can you hear me? Shinya?” Finally, Shinya’s face popped back outside.
“I-I’m fine…”
Die rushed to look at the small snowman. “You were great, Shinya! Oh, the way you rolled your body to slam that drunk guy, so sexy—.”
“Oh, shut up, Die. You made it sound like some sick fantasy.” Shinya pretended to scowl, though he couldn’t hide his smile. But then his smile turned into a horrified look. “Die, watch out!”
Die replied absentmindedly, “Huh?”
The drunken man had woken up once again and stood behind Die. He pushed Die harshly and Die was falling to the front. “WAAAAA!!!”
The drunken man cursed and kicked the fallen tree. “What is this tree doing here?!”
Since he was formed into a tree, of course he couldn’t stand up by himself. So Die was laying flat on his face, helpless like a turtle.
The drunken man switched attention back to the elf. “Hehe! Now, you’re coming with me, cutie! There’s no need to fight!”
Tears were formed into Toshiya’s frightening eyes. Shinya jumped in front of Toshiya, trying to protect him from the drunken man, but the drunken man didn’t even see him. And because he was a lot bigger than Shinya, he stepped on the little snowman easily and Shinya was blended with the snows in no time.
Toshiya cried louder, seeing his friend gone. “Shinya!”
“Are you alright?”
He thought that he recognized the voice, so Toshiya opened his eyes. His face was merely inches away from the familiar looking person. His ears twitched happily when he realized that it was Kaoru. He threw his arms around Kaoru’s neck, hugging him tightly. “Kaoru!” He cried loudly. He was so scared.
“Ssh… It’s okay… I’m here now…” Kaoru brushed his hand on Toshiya’s back. The elf continued to cry for a while, then he glanced up and widened his eyes in fright. “KAORU! BEHIND YOU!”
The drunken man already had his hand raised, holding a huge wooden stick, ready to hit Kaoru like the man did earlier to him. It was too late for Kaoru to evade him. But then another hero came. The drunken man’s face turned pained.
Big horns pricked to the defenseless ass of the drunken man, slicing his pants open. He was thrown far this time, falling with his face first on the snow. Any sign of his consciousness was invisible.
“Kyo!” Toshiya exclaimed happily.
“Huh! You stupid people just couldn’t do anything without me.” Kyo scowled. He yawned widely before speaking some more, “Really, now, Toshiya had been found and I’m sure there’s nobody that would interrupt you two, so I’ll just sleep behind that wall. Make sure to wake me when you’re REALLY REALLY ready to continue with the gift delivery.”
Kaoru chuckled as he watched Kyo’s back disappeared behind the wall. His attention returned to Toshiya, who still have the trace of tears on his face. He wiped them with his hand and kissed his forehead. “I’m sorry, you must’ve felt scared. I’m sorry that your first journey to the human world turned out like this.”
Toshiya’s eyes watered. “No, I’m sorry… If only I didn’t fell carelessly like that…”
“Gosh, I was worried to death, you know,” Kaoru wiped the new tears away, “But it doesn’t matter, what important is that you’re safe now…”
“But you’re supposed to deliver gifts…”
“I’ve told you it’s okay,” Kaoru shushed him, “You’re really important for me, you know.”
Toshiya froze when he heard those words. He fidgeted in Kaoru’s embrace, “P-put me down…”
“Hm? Why? I can get used to carry you like this,” Kaoru tightened his arms around Toshiya’s body, making sure that the elf couldn’t free himself, “You’re warm.”
Toshiya ducked his head down. His mouth moved on its own and he blurted out a question that he had kept inside for a long time, “Why do you always been so nice to me?”
“Eh? Haven’t I told you before?” Kaoru raised his eyebrows, “I like you, Toshiya.”
Toshiya blinked and averted his eyes. “I-I suppose… Well, we couldn’t work together the whole time if you didn’t like me…”
“Hey, I didn’t mean that kind of like.” Kaoru brought Toshiya’s face back towards him. “I love you.”
Toshiya blushed, his ears twitched again. “I’ve told you to stop teasing me like this.”
“I’m not teasing you!” Kaoru’s exprеssion changed to show that he wasn’t playing around, “I’m serious!”
“How could you be serious about that?” Toshiya gripped the front of Kaoru’s clothes, “You’re a Santa, coming from the noble Claus family, and I’m just a mere elf.”
“And who said a Santa couldn’t fall in love with an elf?”
“Well… it’s just not normal!”
“There was no rule about that being not normal. There had just never been any Mrs. Santa that came from the elf race.”
“But I’m a boy!”
“And there’s no rule about female Mrs. Santa too! You do know that the Claus family was born from a star in the middle of North Pole, right? There’s no need for breeding and giving birth!”
“But…”
“No but! I want to make you Mrs. Santa and that’s final!”
Toshiya went silent for a while before he spoke in a small voice, “…is that Santa’s order?”
“No,” Kaoru smiled and kissed his nose, “It’s a proposal from Kaoru.”
Another silence. “…Do you mean it? Is it really okay? Will people say things—.”
“Do you love me or not?”
Toshiya blushed real hard and his ears were twitching madly. He covered his face with both hands to hide his embarrassment. “…I do.”
Kaoru couldn’t stop his grin spreading from ear to ear. “Then so be it.” With one hand, he peeled Toshiya’s hands from his face and melt at seeing the adorable flushed face. “So cute.” He then tilted Toshiya’s chin and leaned in…
“D-don’t call me cute…” Toshiya jerked away slightly, trying to think of a way to free himself. He couldn’t take any more shame than he already had. His face felt like burning, and he was almost sure that there were fumes coming out.
Kaoru chuckled and pulled the elf’s face back, “Can’t help it…”
“B-but I still don’t want to be called a missus…” Toshiya turned his face to the side.
“Fine, then we’ll go with Mr. and Mr. Santa….” Kaoru said patiently. He chuckled inwardly, knowing that Toshiya was being overly shy and want to escape from him, which only made Kaoru more than unwilling to let go. He leaned in more and turned Toshiya’s face back to him firmly. “Now ssh, I’m trying to kiss you here…”
The distance between their face closed up slowly. Toshiya shut his eyes tightly, couldn’t stand seeing Kaoru’s face so close to his. Kaoru really wanted to squeeze him, but that could be done after the kiss. Just a little more and their lips would touch…
“Umm, guys,” A muffled voice from below them surprised the two, making Kaoru almost lost his grasp around Toshiya’s body. They looked down to see their fellow Christmas Spirit still laying flat on his face.
“Sorry for interrupting, but I really can’t stand these snows on my face anymore. A little help, please?”

Ah, it’s white everywhere. The snow had covered the human world. So what, you asked? Well, obviously, it’s nearly the time for the joyful Christmas! The time where people share their love, exchange gifts, and have a wonderful time!
